The Argument

AI's power isn't creation. It's diagnosis.

Most people are training AI on the wrong task. We keep asking it to create hollow replicas of art, work it's fundamentally unsuited for. AI is the most powerful mirror the arts have ever known: inhumanly precise pattern recognition aimed at the ancient structures of human creativity.

Stop asking algorithms to write a bad sonnet. Ask them to deconstruct Shakespeare's. The artist brings the soul. The machine brings the brutally honest mirror. That's the whole arrangement, and it's a good one.

AI won't replace the artist. It will replace the bullshitter.
